About Me:
I've been on my Path for a long time. I recently joined a great little Grove and feel like I am learning quite a lot more than I did on my own. I have no specified path, just my own. I guess I would be closest to Kitchen Witch. I don't care much for labels though.
I am a gypsy. Hurm. My husband and I are gypsies. We move more often than any sane person should. I have traveled the length and width of the US. A lot. Florida seems to be our vortex. We have recently escaped the Vortex (again) and have made WA state our current residence.

I do not live in or anywhere near Seattle. Just wanted to make that clear. It is a desert where I live. Really. No rain for extended periods of time. Definitely not Seattle.

My family is awesome. I have a 4 year old son who will rule the world some day. Or maybe the universe. He is still considering his options. My hubby is level-headed, a nerd, an adventurer, and keeps me out of trouble. Mostly.

As a species, humans do not usually take to change very well. If you have kids, you can see this easily. Just try to change a set schedule. I guarantee you will be relying on aspirin for however long it takes the rugrat to adjust (my experience has been that the kid will take about 5 days to adjust to the situation).

I have had trouble meditating. This is something I had tried to ignore. Maybe if I don't acknowledge it it will go away? What wound up happening is my mind just started to get more and more cluttered. I have trouble paying attention to people talking to me, I don't always notice other people who have already started to talk - just blurt out my thoughts, and so on. I am sure I come off as self-centered and possibly a jerk to some people. I don't mean it, I just can't concentrate.

Oregon Adventure

My son and I went with my in-laws on their yearly trip to Eagle Crest Resort. They own a time share and they let the whole family take advantage of it, if we are able to.
The resort is nestled next to the Deschutes River, on a cliff. Well, the condos my in-laws get every year are on the cliff. There are other condos that are a safer distance from the river.
