About Me:

My name is Edd, and I'm just a "normal" guy...
But some say I'm evil, some say I'm enlightened.
Some days I stand in the sunlight--some days I stay in the cave.
Some nights I headbang to Slayer, some nights I get lost in space.
I can love humanity in the morning, then deplore it by the afternoon.
Sometimes I control my own fate, other times I rely on blind faith.
I am one mind, one heart, one soul--yet there are two of us in here...
I am a mass of contradictions, but I don't mind at all.

Dante's Inferno

At the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire some years ago, I visited one of the vendors whose shop was set up under a tent. It was owned by a pleasant Wiccan lady who offered a nice variety of souvenirs, accoutrements and tools of the Craft. I spoke to her only briefly as I made my small purchase, and sadly, I cannot remember her name, or the name of her shop. But what I do remember, very vividly, is a hand written sign posted on the center pole of the tent. It was a very simple and eloquent warning:

'Stealing is Illegal.
Stealing from a witch is dangerous.'

I hope this lady is still at the faire, and that she continues to have no problems with shoplifters.

One of "those" conversations.

A nice christian lady I worked with engaged (accosted) me in a conversation one Monday morning. She was still fired up from the Sunday service the previous day, the topic of which were the inherent evils of all things non-christian. You know, Pagans are lost souls doomed to fry forever in the eternal barbeque, Wiccans are Satan worshippers who sacrifice stolen children, etc., etc.
