Well she's here. After 24 hours and an emergency c-section my little girl arrived at 15.38 on August 14 My first indication of her spirit was when I was laying there drugged into numbness (oh thank the gods for spinal drugs!) and I heard a doctor say "she bit me!" I also heard a lot of laughter and then everyone was shouting numbers. "Leo" and "wu dien" being the most prevelant. In the final

Well I'm in the final streatch here. Due date is the 11th. If the little one has not arrived by the 13th the doctor wants to have me be induced. And at this point I'm agreeing. Everything is hurting and yet there is nothing I can consider to be labor pains. I'm tired, thirsty all the time and wanting this all to be over.
I am not a person who is good at waiting.

Countdown

Well it is not at t-minus 20 and I am attempting not to panic.
Add to that the air is not working, oh it runs and we get a breeze, but when it is 95f out side plus huminity after dark (and it takes one minute for an ice cube to melt) and that is cooler than when the air is "working" something is wrong. Our friendly translater/go between with the landlord is perplexed, because we said it was working an the 4th. Well it was.
