- About Me:
- I grew up in Alton, IL (burb of St. Louis) and lived rather nomadically in my late teens and early twenties in various states. I moved back to the St. Louis area in fall 2001 and have been an urbanite since 2003. Growing up, I was taught to connect with and honor nature, animals, and my intuition. I came to realize I could control and change certain things through that connection. Talks of ghosts, paranormal, tarot, and other occult ideas were commonplace, yet, the word Pagan was never mentioned. During my nomadic travels, (about 1998) I discovered Paganism through a Unitarian Universalist Seasonal Ritual group. There, I met Wiccans, Witches, Druids, Native Americans, Shamans, etc. I never knew that all the things I grew up feeling and believing actually had a name and home. I discovered the word "magick" and everything changed.
I think by realizing I'm a witch, I learned to become who I am. One of the rewards for that discovery was meeting Mr. Right (after 3 very WRONG ones!) and we've been together for over 3 years now, and we just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary (Toronto, ON - 12/06). We share our house with 2 cats, 2 fish, and 1 snail.
By vocation, I'm a healer of various techniques. I'm in the process of launching my first business called Meta-Wholeness (www.metawholeness.com). My focus is on new ways to bring about balance and harmony to help you live your best life. In return, this helps me to live a better life. - I've been a studying and practicing magick of various forms since 1998 (see about me). While my path is pretty eclectic, the "Temple of Witchcraft" teaching tradition by Christopher Penczak fits my solitary practice very well. I'm a student and soon-to-be faculty of Grey School of Wizardry. I'm also interested in the writings of Dorothy Morrison. I practice mostly with my Family Circle for Sabbats and solitary for Esbats. I attend public Sabbat Circles when I hear about them and have recently become a Seeker with the Brotherhood of the Phoenix.
