I wonder if it will take disaster to wake us up.

So, I have been a bit obsessed with 2012, lately. Reading all I can find and just got finished ordering a documentary on the topic. I've downloaded podcasts and watched Youtube. I like a lot of you don't see it as a bad thing, the world has gone mad and it has to reach critical mass soon. Something big will happen, and we will all change. About Me:: I am new to the Wiccan path. I discovered it oddly enough after finding the Triple Goddess symbol and wanting to get a tattoo of it. I thought I might research what it meant before I got it. In doing so I discovered that Wiccans believe a lot of what I already believed and just didn't know there was a name for. I have been downloading pod casts and reading all I can find on the topic.

Favorite Books: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scoot Cunningham. Now I'm reading The Spiral Dance by StarHawk and I love that.

Beliefs / Practices: Pagan, Witch, Wiccan, Mystic

Hobbies: I love to paint with oils and hope to make a name for myself one day

It's been a while

So, I am back. I have been lurking for a few days reading some discussions. I actually tried a method of magic involving meditation, clearing your mind, setting your intent, visualizing it, sending out your energy and then being certain it will happen and forgetting about it. Just a little quick one yesterday, and it worked! YAY!!

ok, so I am an artist. I paint in oils and it is my passion. Someone once told me that as an artist you want to find your niche, get know for doing one particular thing really well. So I was browsing Wiccan sites and looking for peoples pictures of Goddesses. I came across the most wonderful fantasy art, beautiful depictions of nature and goddesses it was beautiful.
