Let me be honest: I'm coming at the occult community from a strange place, that of a fairly rigorous parapsychological research. Parapsychology and parapsychological groups are fairly rare, and I have found that only the Wiccan and occult groups are much open to my interests, selective as they are in terms of the occult.

I do trance work, neuro-linguistic programming, and other, slightly more esoteric stuff. I am happy to discuss this with anyone, and anything else for that matter.

Other Beliefs/Practices: I come to all this from a Christian background, but I promise not to impose it on anyone. Hellfire and brimstone fundamentalist I'm not.

Hobbies: I write, I watch too much TV.

Heroes: My current supervisor at the university where I'm studying. It is not often that someone can train with and learn from one of her heros, and I have had that chance several times, this time for years. I cannot believe how fortunate I am.

Likes: Reading, hypnosis, anything to do with the mind and exploring the mind, exploring reality and what it is --- and isn't.

Dislikes: It's hard for me to write these out. I am frequently in a dark head space, but if I say I dislike it, I cut off exploring it. However, it is not pleasant to be there.
