- About Me:
- I work for an industrial manufacturing company - sounds bad, doesn't it? But, I made image intensifier parts for the Hubble space telescope so that we may see further, and I've made cell carriers so that tumour samples can be diagnosed and tested for the right chemotherapy without the patient having to suffer all the tests: I'm happy with that.
My retirement plans may involve getting a decent camper vehicle and exploring all of those parts of the UK that I've missed.

- I have about two dozen of Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' novels. They are great for 'losing' yourself in.
I used to have nearly 2,000 books, until I started lending them to 'friends'!

- I've had some interesting experiences with Akashic rituals, and assisting with psychic investigations.
I have "A Witches' Bible", "The Koran", and "Bhagavad-Gita" sitting right here... I must get around to reading them, thoroughly.
- Hobbies
- Writing to prisoners, photography, painting (acrylics), and trying to 'kick-start' my creative writing.
Some how, Tae Kwon-Do is just a little too vigorous these days, so I'll stay with Tai Chi. That way I can still use martial arts' weapons, but very, very slowly. ;)
- Heroes
- Ghandi, and any under-dog who stands up to fight their corner.
And, little Brit David Haye beating giant Russian Nikolay Valuev for the world heavy weight title.
I don't like fighting, but Haye won by points, not by knock downs.
- Likes
- Movies. Cooking good (international) food. Exploring the world of wine. Ten pin bowling.
Hmm? I just love flying a Robinson R22 helicopter. I was lucky enough to get the money to pay for three pilot lessons... yeah, yeah, I know it's not as fast & manoeuvrable as a Harry Potter "Nimbus 2000" besom, but just being 3,000 above the Earth, and flying just where I want is a really great buzz!
