Recently,Some of my pagan sisters and I have attempted to form a coven. We are still on that pursuit, but I am beginning to wonder the basic question: why starts a coven?  I am very comfortable in my practice and have long ago learned that my belief and faith is dependent upon myself alone. So I ask of everyone, if you were join or start a coven, why would you? Greeting, my name is Jamie and I've been practicing for eleven or so years. I'm pretty undefined for the reason I don't want to be defined. I love the earth. I'm earthbound as spiritually and as a person. I'm trying to adapt a more earth friendly lifestyle and I've recently begun recycling.

I'm also sorta out there. I love all types of music and when I write, there is nothing that is taboo.

Summer Covens

Covens are hard to come by. Its hard to find people you mesh with in general, but to find people who are like family is one of the greatest challenges, besides love, that a witch encounters. I thought I found my coven. Although, everyone practices a different branch of magick, we found a balance and last night with a lot of hard work we made it work. My Grandmother and her death

My grandmother passed away Wednesday of this week. She went quickly and painlessly. It was her time to go, that is what everyone says and that's what everyone tells themselves. I know it was her time, but I don't say this arrogantly. I say this because before she died, she said her prayer. This strong woman I came to know over the course of life asked for her Lord to take her, and then he granted her request.
