Not much to say about myself, really, other than that I am a seeker of unbiased knowledge, raw knowledge, if you will. Ever since I read the Necronomicon over 15 years ago, I've been looking for proof as to whether or not the book is/was real, or if it was just imagined up by H.P. Lovecraft to connect his stories. Either way, this one pursuit has led me down many strange and interesting paths, and as time continues to march on and I continue to age, my lust for the truth grows...
All of them more or less.
Texts are my usual flavour, with high fantasy and sci fi novels in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan, Other Spirituality
There ARE energies out there, sentient or not, that are native to this planet that a select few know about, and as much as it frustrates me, this is a good thing considering how base and immoral we are as a species.
None anymore, really. The ratrace consumed me for awhile, but I'm coming back around and am trying to find new outlets in which to release the pent up energy.

I'm truly envious of your opportunity to play again. The closest we get to it these days is playing the board game called Talisman. It's essentially a simplified version of D&D where you draw cards to have adventures on your way to achieving The Crown Of Command. If you haven't played it, I guarantee that you'd LOVE it!! (The original version is better than the smaller, shortened version, by the way.) The game can last from several hours to a couple of days, but usually about 6 hours. If you like board games at all, Talisman should be on your shelf.
