"Hello. I read your post on my blog.
I used the term Solitary too liberally. What I referred to were not initiates that practiced alone. They are still apart of a group so to speak because they are initiated. I generally refer to solitaries as those…"
I'm a mother, a wife, a chocoholic, a LOTR fanatic, an aspiring gardener, a swinger, a bookworm, a perpetual devil's advocate, a history buff, a (former) thespian, a pragmatist, a procrastinator, and a lover of turtles.
I was born and raised in St. Louis, and haven't called anywhere else home yet. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and next-door neighbors. We have a 7 year old girl (Arwen) and a 5 year old boy (Declan). I spend most of my time at home with the kids; doing art projects, reading Dr. Seuss, baking cookies just because, playing in the backyard, etc. May not seem interesting to most, but it suits me quite well.
Want to know anything else feel free to ask...

I started making my way down the Pagan path when I was about 13. I like the way the word path describes spirituality; it shouldn't be stagnant, we're constantly learning and evolving. I can't pick any one label to describe my ideas, because to me once you say "I am a ____" it sounds like saying you have found THE truth, THE answers. I think all religions contain fragments of 'truth', but none can encompass it in entirety.
As far as deity goes, I consider myself a panentheist. As for philosophy, I tend to draw from Buddhism, Hinduism, various facets of Western Paganism... if I've read about it, it has probably contributed in some way to shaping my ideology.
reading (when I have the time), going to concerts (when I have the money), belly-dancing, yoga, playing Rock Band, debating with any willing party, hanging out with a few friends or just my husband, dispelling all the bullsh*t being fed to people about marijuana

I used the term Solitary too liberally. What I referred to were not initiates that practiced alone. They are still apart of a group so to speak because they are initiated. I generally refer to solitaries as those non initiated into any sort of group. Thank you for your input and it has given me some consideration. :D
Holiday blessings to you. I would like to extend a special invitation to you to join me on a journey of a lifetime. A journey toward a new era of consciousness as we approach the dawning of 2012. http://www.paganspace.net/group/2012awareness
