my hubby , my mom, great aunt jeannie, grandma dottie, and all the honorable ancestors from my mothers line-a list of strong and independent women from all over europe and a few from the Lakota tribe. There are several of Those That Have Gone Before-Suzuki Roshi, the man who began Tassajara, Chiomara-wife of a celtic chieftan who was raped and ransomed by a roman. She killed her captor and brought his head home to her husband saying,"There will only be one man alive who has fornicated with me!" Siddartha-the guy who started buddhism, the religion has so much good in it(as do many paths) who taught me that The One is within all of us and all things. Jesus of Nazareth(now wait before you attack!) he was a good man and descent rabbi who tried to get people to focus less on the rules and more on the Light which is within us all.Mother Theresa-another good woman who felt that "we should make hindus good hindus, muslims good muslims,..(etc)." She was a bastion for religious tolerance too bad more catholics cant be like her. Pelagius, a man who tried to merge Celtic ways with christian teaching-and was sadly crushed by Hippolytus-also believed that everyone makes their own choices, the path may be laid by the Divine, but we choose which fork we take. I mention Bride last because she was the first to call me and my closest Guide i owe Her so much.

This was inspired by a client who got confused when I told her I read tarot and I don't consider myself a psychic

Posted on February 17, 2012 at 11:56am 1 Comment I added what follows as an entry on my biz's wordpress blog.

When people ask me what I do, sometimes I wish I had a little time to sit down and really tell them. To find a way to put into words not only the process but the experience which is an entangled and intricate lattice work of  beliefs and feelings. Yes I am a tarot reader, but I don’t consider myself a psychic. I prefer to use the term diviner, but the more common term I identify with is channeling. Channeling…

Before I go into my rant on the "food safety bill' I'd like to remind everyone that today is World Aids Day. Powered by the organization [Red]-you know they sell gap clothes and have celebs in their ads?-cities across the globe today will be participating in "Go Red' to raise awareness. People will tweet meet and greet across the globe. Also being promoted is the new 2015 campaign "Last year nearly half a million babies were born with HIV. By 2015 that number could be zero. We could make that… Continue

I heart advent

Posted on November 29, 2010 at 8:30pm 0 Comments

Okay so even when I was a christian I was never sure which day to start advent so this year I am-surely!- off the mark again. This year I’ve decided that the Solstice is a Tuesday so we’ll start our countdown this Tuesday.Keepin’ it simple…yup…

Out of all the things I’ve hated about Christmas growing up-and when you have a highly dysfunctional family there’s a lot to hate-advent was one of the things I always looked forward to. I loved the somber tones

that fell upon the…

Once in a blue-oh wait that's way overused for info about the Blue Moon...

Posted on November 21, 2010 at 8:07pm 0 Comments

Well tonight is the full moon and also a blue moon. What is the difference between a regular full moon and a blue one?

Let’s start with color. Tonight’s “Blue Moon” does not actually have anything to do with the moons hue, which has occurred a few times in history: “When the Indonesian volcano…

Endless Quest:Planes of the Department of Public and Social Services

Posted on November 20, 2010 at 8:40pm 0 Comments

After a long hiatus in which I cloistered myself to finish a submission I was writing for an e book on chronic pain here is the latest from 3 legged race canes and chronic pain

So these past few weeks I’ve been pretty busy and yes my blogs have been neglected because of it.

Ah well. Pressing matters at hand left word press wanting but certain things had to be dealt with. I’ve been spending a lot of time at my local DPSS(department of public and social services) office trying…
