About Me:
I am Asatru, though I have had relationships with wiccan women and am very comfortable with that path.

I work and live in the beautiful city of Ithaca, New York. I work hard, rest well, love learning, keep in touch with family and friends, and endeavor to be a good citizen. The study of Germanic and Italic / Romance languages is one of my many passions.

Favorite Books
My 1935 Merriam-Webster Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language (as this is the book wherein I've had my fingers over the past twenty-five years). I have lots of favorite books: The Poetic Edda; The Prophet...I'll add to this list as time wends on.
Beliefs / Practices
Pagan, Wiccan, Mystic, Other Spirituality, Heathen
Other Beliefs/Practices
I am certainly agnostic when it comes to the creation of the universe -- but I am comfortable with its being a mystery. I do not believe that Odin or Yahweh created the world. I do pray to Odin, Thor, and other Norse/Teutonic deities as guides to my spirit. I am also comfortable with all Gods and Goddesses who play well with others. I feel a spiritual connection to the earth and all living things.
Hobbies
Learning (History, environmentalism, the beliefs of others...), linguistics, being out of doors (especially in Autumn and Winter), exercise & health, ...
Heroes
I have lots of heroes. When I was young, most were fictional. My heroes now are historic or living (I am not counting the Gods and Goddesses I worship here).

The number of heroes I discover get bigger all the time. I'm not going to begin naming them lest I forget incredible people. But in general, brave people who sacrifice in one way or another to better the existence of human kind.
