I feel I must object to the assumption that all pagans, and those who believe that they are attuned to the living Earth must automatically be opposed to blood sport. Personally I dislike the term blood sport as it puts it on a level with tennis or football, however for the purposes of this blog that is what I shall continue to call it, although in reality it is the ritual shedding of blood.
