The Water Body

I've been making my way through Ariel's A Witch's Primer Podcast on my ipod. Today's podcast was about the water body. Accepting the water body. Opening yourself up to the water body. Etc.

The Greenman...

Looking back on my life, I've always had an attachment to the Greenman. As a child I was a huge Robin Hood fan. When I was 13 or so I was convinced I would grow up, go to a Christian college, marry a Baptist Pastor and be the Pastor's wife. Yet, if I go through my journals there are eyes surrounded by leaves doodled on the edges of the pages. "Reverend" Kendra renounces Wicca...

After A Pagan Heart in Maine Podcast interviewed Kendra (I don't believe she has earned the title 'reverend' so she is simply Kendra to me) I emailed her. She sent me a dvd of the show she was in on TLC, which I honestly have not sat down and watched yet. I lead a busy lifestyle, and after emailing her a few times I was turned off from anything to do with her.

Biggest Full Moon of the year this month...

It's all about cycles. Circles.

Pagan practice isn't just about this earth, it's about this universe. Moon. Sun. Planets. Beyond.

Sometimes this can make me feel insignificant, until I see my magic work. And then I feel powerful...

I just pulled this card from my deck. I was thinking about my best friend when I pulled it and I sat and stared at it for quite awhile. I use The Sacred Circle deck. At the top of this card it says "disillusion". Usually the symbolism on the card will tell me something. This time, nothing.
