On Sunday, I will be working Trans Siberian Orchestra. It will be a long day. Load-in for them involves many many trucks, tons of gear and usually several of the cluster fux that you can only get from having too many chiefs! We will immediately roll into two shows. The load-out is usually very fast and furious, but even so, it usually takes several hours. Monday will be recovery day and the children come home from Stacy's house.
May the season bring you timeless spiritual rewards as well as a cornucopia of wealth that can carry you and your family through the dark times ahead. May your long nights be filled with creative energy and the vitality you need to surpass your goals.

I've been so busy that I neglected to search and find you in this digi-realm! The summer festival season is upon us and it seems that in spite of the lean economic times, there are plenty of people who need to be entertained. This coming week, I'm going to try to get through another week of sleeping in my tent near the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) grounds for the final week of set up for their annual fly-in. I was down there this week, building floors, carpeting and general labor. We carpeted half a dozen floors that ranged from twenty by twenty up to 80 by 120. The largest one was made even more difficult by it being two colors, which butted up to one another along a serpentine curve. That floor alone created two dumpsters full of waste carpet. My soul aches for a job that reflects my creativity and inner sensibilities!
