About Me:

I'm an eclectic witch with a penchant for the outdoors! I am a nurse by profession....I take care of our Veterans at a Veterans home in Ohio......what a different perspective! I have four children...two of them have gone on. My oldest son, and second born son, both in separate car accidents a year apart. If I can survive that with a positive outlook...nothing can phase me. It does, however, drive home a point........there is that which is very important.....and there is that, which is not. Believe me......that smile given to a stranger...a hug to an elderly person....the love of your family....what we GIVE....can make or break a person. We do have that kind of power. Man, oh man...do I love camping and the water!!!!!

Favorite Books

Too many to pick a few! I love forensics and mysteries. My metaphysics library has just about everything you can think of..I am always open to suggestions for new reading! You know, one day, in my mid thirties, I had this extensive library around me and I thought..." time to put your money where your reading is".....I packed all of my metaphysics "how tos" away and went to work with my gut and my intuition. I'm glad I did....now I have this humongous reference library!

I have read and studied many different belief systems.....I probably incorporate a little from the ones that touch my heart....and those that work!

Hobbies

Travel, camping, gardening, my guitar, scuba, reading, cooking, sewing, needlework.......etc. don't have time to be bored.

Heroes

How does one pick heros? They don't have to be famous. How about that friend that said just the right thing? How about the dream that put everything right? Your guardians and angels? Your family and coworkers? A great big hug? it's the little things that weave a life! Everyone can be..and is...a hero.

Likes

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens..." Really, I like sitting around a campfire. I love the beach and listening to the waves lap the shore. I love spending a day in the woods. Someday, I want to live on a houseboat....and fish off the stern.....cook it up in a pan.............

Dislikes

Abject arrogance coupled with a closed mind.

Full Moon Observations

It was interesting...to say the least. We had gone to the river after dark. She was peeking from behind cirrus clouds and it was dangerous to wind our way to the banks of the river without full light. We stood on the bridge each of us silently giving thanks, asking for blessings for our wishes and projects, I on one side of the bridge and Reg on the other. Just a quick note to my friends...and of course.......hugs!!!!!!

I haven't been on line often lately. Not because i don't enjoy spending my time here...I do! I've had some disturbing physical symptoms that I couldn't ignore....couldn't explain metaphysically...and were keeping me home from work!! Oh the HORRORS!!! Anyway, I went to see my nice lady Doc...she checked me out...decided she... who dispenses pills and knows more than me about physiology and chemistry,.......doesn't really know what I have...there are a few tests I have to undergo at the hospital..… Continue

An interesing addendum...................................

Well, We sat back outside around the fire when Reg felt an urge to "Look Down". At my feet was the pendant I was wearing while doing the earlier work.......the chain is nowhere to be found. Reg stated that it was ripped from my neck.....the pendant was given back to me. No, it is not in my shirt or clothing. I didn't feel it go. The pendant is a moon with a single star in sterling. My circle is my sanctuary.

More magic at the Altar Pit

Another interesting day around the fire...........
Reg told me about a series of dreams he had last night. One was about three gentlemen in suits with name tags on. They had come to repossess our property. They ordered him show them around, one went up in a puff of smoke. The second one went into the ground, and the third one declared the property theirs.
