I won my disability case! What a whirlwind of emotions going through me. It's finally over, the judge ruled in my favor 100%. I can hire out the things I need done, I can keep up on my bills, its just all so wonderful. Thank you all for the blessings and prayers, I am truly blessed.

So another year gone by, a few more gray hairs on my head and hopefully a bit wiser. Today I am 53, Crone and teacher to some. So what have I learned. I did survive my husband's death. I did survive foot surgery again. The seasons still change even though I hate winter. I learned to live with my disabilities better. I learned to love more. A dear friend of mine that I have never met in person believe it or not just asked me to do her handfasting! She lives about 100 miles away and when I have time to visit she is working or in school and when she has time to visit I'm working. Never could hook up. Well I am going to do this, never have done one but I am so honored that she asked ME!

Peace and Calm

Because of my beliefs I do rituals during certain times of the year. Spring Equinox is one of them. It is a symbol of new beginnings, new starts. Getting rid of old habits and pain. Well that time is close at hand, the time when my husband went with the Goddess. It's hard to believe almost a year has passed, it seems like yesterday I held his hand as it went cold and limp. I'm sorry it's still so "raw" for you, but it WILL become easier! I promise! And your family and friends are so very important right now. I hope you are getting lots of support and compassion from them. Sometimes, after this has happened, people don't understand that your pain continues, long after their's has gone away. They sort of expect you to be "getting over it" now. They don't realize that this is something that you will be dealing with for the rest of your life. And the more support and understanding you receive, the easier it will be for you to process all of it. Talking about how you're feeling is of UTMOST importance! And being "allowed" to do this is just as important! Most people don't understand that. They get tired of hearing it. That's because they have already processed their feelings and are moving on. And they don't understand why YOU are still "wallowing in self-pity", as one person put it to me! LOL! (Definitely not a very compassionate friend, eh??? LOL!) But I realized that they had never experienced it "yet"! Only when you've walked in another person's shoes, do you REALLY GET IT!
SO, my new friend, if and when you feel the need to express your feelings, you can always send me a private message and just let 'er rip!!!! It's been 33 years since my son crossed over and I still have my "Jason days"! And I'm very fortunate to have loved ones who let me just vent and cry and get out whatever it is I need to get out. I have to say that I have evolved in this respect tremendously BECAUSE of being allowed to face every single pain I feel, openly and honestly, whenever I needed to. So I want to extend this to you, if you need it.

I just read all of your blogs and about you, and I see an awesome, loving and powerful Being. And I really like people who speak their mind. :O) It saves SO much time! LOLOL!!!!!
I understand about losing someone very close to you, whom you Love with all your Heart and Soul. I lost my son, a long time ago now, but the pain is still there and always will be. But time, and their Love for us, and the Healing Love of Goddess and all our angels and guides, does make it "easier" as time goes by. But my guess is that you know this! :O)
I'm looking forward to sharing "Life" here with you and maybe helping others through their life's struggles.
