I am a delightfully married (for 20 years on June 24) mom (of two teens) in the broom closet for the most part because of my job. I am a member of an absolutely wonderful, loving CUUPS group/ open pagan circle at my UU Church which helps demystify Paganism for others who are not so sure about it! I love nature, reading, music, movies, drumming, herb and candle magick, and my doggies! I am a vegetarian. I honor the Goddess as Demeter, Persephone, and Hecate and the God as Pan, though I don't exactly see them as "beings." I am here and now. At least that is how I am now. I have been know to change...

Don't Make Judgements Too Soon

I have been in a lot of situations recently which have taught me that I should not be making snap judgments. One example is that I was asked to write an open Mabon ritual for a group with which I am active. I was less than excited, as Mabon has not been one of the Sabbats to which I have felt a deep connection. In writing it, I discovered it's relationship to Demeter (a goddess I honor) and ended up learning a lot and finding it very meaningful to me!

New Puppy Has Arrived!

Yesterday, I picked up our new puppy from the airport. She immediately fell in love with my younger daughter and has become quite at home here. She has so much energy, you can practically see the sparks flying off of her as she jumps around. Her name is BamBam (really Bambi, but we mostly are calling her BamBam).

For a thousand years
It seems
I’ve tread the wheel
From summer to summer,
Through all the days of time,
Becoming

Fern is my first Chi and I can't believe I didn't get one earlier. They're absolutely adorable! Fern is so loving and caring, and she literally sticks to me like glue (she's my shadow) LOL. I'm so glad I got a girl this time too. Dougal my Bichon is adorable but he's also a little pain in the ass LOL. He's very independent and has a will or iron. Fern is the total opposite so she makes a very welcome change :)
Which one is the Chi in your pic, Peachee or Patsy? She's a similar colour to Fern.
Send them scritches and scratches behind the ears from me...
