I saw that you were interested in Eastern spirituality so I thought you might enjoy this story about an experience I had a couple of years ago........I had posted it on another site but I found it and made a copy just for you.... Hope you enjoy it!

I am the owner of a small contracting company specializing in all manner of interior and exterior remodeling and renovations. I do most of my work in a very prosperous and very conservative suburb of Cincinnati. Problem is... I have always had to guard myself and hide my Pagan beliefs and customs whenever I am around the great majority of my customers.... That's at least eight and sometimes twelve hours a day!!  It takes a tremendous toll on my spirit to hide who I am for so great a portion of every day.

Several years ago I did a full moon vernal equinox ritual where I ask the goddess to help me find more Pagan customers, people who I could feel more at ease around and relate to on a deeper level. People who didn't make me feel as if they were the fox and I a frightened hare hiding in the tall grass... Immediately afterwards I thought to myself "well that was stupid... Pagans don't have any money, none that I know anyway... if this comes to pass I'm going to go bankrupt!!!".

Four years later.... at least 75% of my regular customers are now doctors, engineers and executives... and they're all Hindu.... I find that we have very similar spiritual beliefs and because I understand and respect their customs many of them would not even think of letting anyone else provide the services they require, even if they have to wait weeks for me to get to them. I have more work than I can handle now and my Indian customers love and trust me.... they say that they can sense that I have a good heart and that I would never try to take advantage of them like other contractors have in the past. I have become like family to them and they to me and I never have to hide my spiritual beliefs. I would venture to say that I have received more Hindu blessings, hung more icons of Lord Ganesha and built more Hindu alter rooms than any other contractor in North America! I am still a Pagan and a Wiccan and a Celtic Shaman but I no longer live in fear of somebody finding out.... My Alter will forever reserve a space for Lord Ganesha in a place of honor right next to those reserved for Cerridwen and Cernunnos!

The moral of the story..... spirit knows what it's doing! The goddess may not always provide you with what you want but she will provide you with exactly what you need!
