About Me:
I am part Cherokee and have always believed in something other that Christianity. I have no formal training and no clue as to what I am seeking other than inner peace. I am a scientist by training and strongly believe that even though I am taught evolution that creation can still exist thru the pagan beliefs--as science tells us that all things are made of matter; nothing is created or destroyed it just alters it's state. Well then that would truly say that every being is our brother and sister even if it is a tree or a flower.

I am not sure what I am suppose to be stating here, sorry. I am single, female, and a wildlife biologist.

Before writing the text that I plan for my blog entries, let me set the story straight. I am no genus, no ethnobotanist--at least not one that I can show a degree for, and I am not making this stuff up. I am a wildlife biologist in the state of Florida. I have a BS in Natural Resources Management, a MS in agricultural operations management, and a MS in wildlife biology. I do not work to better one species, I work on habitat restoration to better all native species. My knowledge comes from the… Continue

Thoughts on Blogs

Posted on September 10, 2010 at 10:45am 0 Comments

I never quite got the fascination of blogs and the addiction that some people have toward them. For me, it is hard enough to write out a shopping list of the things I need for the week ahead and keep up with it. To actually start a blog and stay with it, week in and week out is next to impossible. Why? I simply do not have the time in the day or the attention span to stick with it. Sure at first it may be fun, but it just does not hold my attention. Plus why write about yourself day in and day… Continue
