moving again

Well, I have been in DC for 2 months & now must gear up to move back to Texas.
I need over $2000 to get a Uhaul. Not sure how that will manifest yet.

I am leaving for DC in a couple of hours! I am so excited! I have never been there & can hardley wait to visit the Smithsonian!
Oh, all of the great restraunts! The wonderful history, parks, cemetaries!!!
PLUS, my most excellant friends live there!!!

changing of the rules

I really am miffed right now!
I just wasted an hour taping up & struggleing with 3 large boxes to mail off.
Not one person offered to assist me getting the boxes into the Post Office...I had to scoot them across the
parkinglot & through 2 sets of heavy doors, & across the lobby...waited in line for half of a hour...then couldn't send them because they have writting on them! RATS!
So I had to repeat the push/drag scene & load the darn things back into my van.

I will keep up with Dianne about the scholarship, its a great opportunity for something that I would happily do anyways so its a win win in my book. Our drive back was horrendous. It took us nearly 8 hours just to get back to Atlanta and then we still had another 45 minutes to go. Traffic was a nightmare and was backed up for miles and miles because of some accidents. Just when we got moving up to speed, there was another one that slowed us to a crawl. All's well that ends well, we made it safely which was more important than speed. Keep me updated on the move and I will keep you updated on my possible one. I am going to be trying to go back to school and get my nursing degree, so positive energies to us both.
