I am sitting outside, and all the sudden it starts pouring while the sun is out. I'm wondering what the meaning of that is have you ever had an ordinary experience that seems somehow extraordinary?

Belief and autism

I wonder sometimes if the reason I can accept my beliefs is because of just how much the physical world around me is tied into it. The whole system of time and cause and effect and I'm trying to explain something that brings me peace is so old! I'm usually very smithy with words, but this just makes a sense to me that I have no idea how to explain. For example I have no ability to filter out noises around me. It is chaotic and exhausting to hear. Currently, I hear two wall clocks ticking, the… Continue

I've been thinking for a while how to integrate Rory into the fact that people believe different things when he's older his aunt, and Nana Christian. Which is all good,, but it has often occurred to me that my son Maybe confused as to why his mommy is different.
I figure I will introduce him to both and let him decide for himself when he's older. Continue

And myself. But the place I stay is with family who dislike strongly my beliefs. But they will never be able to accept it. Still though, it is saddening to this.

Sisters of the Dark Moon

-Give beginners resources
-Help connect students to appropriate teachers
-Strengthen the Pagan political voice
-Provide an avenue for pagan networking
-Provide a meeting place for pagans
-Facilitate support groups for the pagan community's needs and desires
-Hold classes to further knowledge
-Support pagan run functions and events
-Hold public workshops, rituals, and functions

This new group is designed to help to give the pagan community more voice, more presence, and allow the people that are scattered by so many egos, paths, and issues to come together for the betterment of the community. To swallow our pride, to fight our ego, to embrace the divine in each other and use that power to have a political voice, a community service plan, and a network of so many wonderful brothers and sisters.

We invite each and every one of you to join the new group: and help me in this worthy cause.

This group is OURS. As such, we seek many. Those that can help with web sites, politics, organization, business, teaching, sites, leg work, ritual leaders, schmoozing and everything else. We embrace those that come with pure intention of making our community stronger and more united.

This is NOT for one type of pagan. We call to all that follow energy, craft magick, stylize ritual, or embrace the divine.

This group is not for judgment. We all have different tolerance, desires, beliefs, and perceptions. We must learn to accept everyone's. As Pagans we need to be able to do this because we have people looking at us to set the example..

Welcome to our large and strange family, Lora. I see Nephele's invitation to you below. You ought to take her up on it. With a long name like yours, she would have fun.
I was active on Pagan Space the first time Nephele posted her discussion topic for anagrams, and I thought she wouldn't get any responses, but the current count of her responses is over 8800! She's smart and funny, as are many of the active members. I always enjoy and appreciate her replies to others' discussions.
My experience here on PS has been nothing short of amazing, and I'm sure you'll find it the same way. Just ignore the occasional troll.
About your sunshower experience, the meaning of it is yours to describe. Your thought was that it was a hint of good things coming your way. Excellent! Avoid simply waiting for it to happen. Every time you think about the experience, put a secret smile on your face and lean forward a bit in anticipation. It's like you heard a rumor that someone is throwing you a surprise party. Don't let on that you know about it. Don't mention it to anyone. (That's why I'm answering you here instead of on the discussion board--a little more private.) Keep that ticklish feeling of anticipation within your radar, not with any needful longing, but with amused expectation that it could happen any minute. There's a lot of complicated metaphysics involved in understanding it, but you don't need to understand it. You just need to faithfully expect it, with a sense of humor about it as you wait.
Lean forward, and keep your eyes just above the horizon. ;-)
