Greetings, Luke. People, like Daimons, have agendas they are intent on following. Lol, in a sense, perhaps it is easier to control a Daimon than some human beings (I use the term human advisedly with no disrespect to Otherkin) because Daimons are created to be under a controlling power in a hierarchy, and humans are created creatures of choice which must develop self control, which is beyond the power of some humans. It seems that your question ran afoul of some people with a strong private agenda in place, very rigid, megalomaniacal people. Not to worry about their private agenda just as long as you don't buy into it and insist on developing to be your own person, which is certainly a trait they are willing to allow themselves, if not others. When you come down to it, you will pay for all your mistakes and enjoy all your own rewards, not them; so, why let them dictate who you are or what you identify with or call yourself, right? Don't worry about the meanies, as they are called on this site.
Don't let anyone tell you you are not a pagan if that is the way in which you think of yourself, as hard as some might try to convince you otherwise in order for them to fulfill their own private agenda.
