You are Death

Change, Transformation, Alteration.

People fear this card, but if you want to change your life, this is one of the best indicators for it. Whatever happens, life will be different. Yes, the Death card can signal a death in the right circumstances (a question about a very sick or old relative, for example), but unlike its dramatic presentation in the movies, the Death card is far more likely to signal transformation, passage, change. Scorpio, the sign of this card, has three forms: scorpion, serpent, eagle. The Death card indicates this transition from lower to higher to highest. This is a card of humility, and it may mean you have been brought low, but only so that you can then go higher than ever before. Death "humbles" all, but it also "exults." Always keep in mind that on this card of darkness there is featured a sunrise as well. You could be ready for a change. fun quiz for myspace profile and blog

Out of Town

I have been out of town and helping my Mom get her things ready for her operation on the 5th of October. She had valve replacement surgery, they used a cow valve as a replacement. She was born with this and the doctor said as she got older she started to experince more problems. i.e. dizziness, shortness of breath. It became an issue after the 4th of July weekend. She had a cardio test done and they found she had very good veins and no stents were needed. So on the 5th my Moms brother Gene and h… Continue

Itty Bitty Kitty

Well the kitten I introduced you to; is so cute. He still has his baby hair and loves to attack your feet and bite you if you don't pay attention to what he is up to. Around the end of July he was weaned off the bottle and now is eating soft food and learning to clean himself. Mom said the litter box training was easier than she thought it would be. His home is a cat carrier in the kitchen; he is let out and he as the run of the house and boy is he spoiled. One thing he likes the best is the ref… Continue

My brothers big find

Hhmmpf, I had this all typed in when the internet stopped working. Anyway, the above pictures are a kitten that my brother found in the barn. The poor alittle guy was covered in maggots but he got cleaned up. My brother wants to call her Maggie (for obvious reasons) but Mom thinks it is a little boy (a little to

Tea party

Hi All,
I was wondering if anybody went to the tea parties that were held all over the nation? I watched the news where one of the reporters just was (to me, anyway) just rude to people that tried to explain their side of the story. Nancy Pelosi said had her say but she couldn't believe that the "tea party" was a grassroots organization and thought that someone: whether big companies or parties were the ones that got this together. Does she not realize the people are calling on the President to… Continue

Scotch-Irish

Well I found that the McCormick name is Scottish in origin and history reveals the roots of the McCormick name is the ancient Strathclyde people of the Scottish/English borderlands. It is derived from the Gaelic name MacChormaig which is derives from the given name Cormac, meaning charioteer.
First found in Dumfriessshire where they were seated from early times and their first records appeared on the early census rolls taken by the Kings of Britian to determine the rate of taxation of their subj… Continue
