About Me:: Amalthea and Terry of Magickalystics are saddened to announce that we have had to close our Palm Harbor store. We had planned to give more notice of our closing and have a big clearance sale. Unfortunately, the best laid plans… In the midst of getting notices ready to go out about the store, Amalthea came down with the H1N1 virus, complicated with Pneumonia. Her illness was severe enough to warrant a 12-day stay in the hospital. She is home now, but still recovering. We are both very sorry not to have been able to give all our customers a chance to say “goodbye”, but the Lord and Lady obviously had other plans for us for awhile.

The good news is we are still available online at www.magickalystics.com. We’ll be making some improvements to our shopping cart—especially the dreaded shipping calculations!—as well as updating our prices to help our customers save even more. In addition, we are exploring the possibility of reopening a physical storefront once it’s feasible for us to do so. In the meantime, as Amalthea’s health continues to improve, we will be making plans for the more immediate future, such as vending at area festivals and celebrations. In short, we’re looking at this closing as more of a sabbatical than a farewell.

Greenbriar Community Yard Sale (and Magickalystics Clearance)

With all the hospital drama last month, starring Amalthea as The Patient, we never had a proper "Closing Sale" for the Palm Harbor store. So we're using our community-wide yard sale to get rid of some overstock at obscenely bargain prices. Mostly novelty items and clothing, but we're willing to bring out more things from our "warehouse" if requested. ... we have gone back to our regular schedule at the shop (Tuesdays through Thursday, 10 - 5:30 and Friday - Saturday, 10 - 7).

At least, that's what we've been trying to do. However, Mercury Retrograde has had other plans for us this month. We've had a series of incidents lately involving feet. First I developed a pinched nerve in my foot. Then our little doggy started limping about and had to be taken to the vets. We have had to make a short-term change in our schedule, so from now thru Saturday, August 22, Magickaystics' Palm Harbor store will only be open Saturdays.

Magickalystics at Phoenix Council's Midsummer 2009 Gathering This Weekend!

We're packing up our show and taking it on the Road!

Magickalystics will be vending at Phoenix Council's Midsummer 2009 Gathering, June 12 - 14. The gathering will be held in J B Starkey Wilderness Park, 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd, New Port Richey, FL.

The store will be closed that Friday and Saturday, and will reopen at 10 am on Tuesday, June 16.
