I have recently had surgery so probably won't be up to anything more strenuous than a walk in the woods. Our grove will be official on Beltane and I am planning on doing a water sharing ritual with the grove."

- I began following my own personal Pagan Path in the summer of 2004. I am an ordained Druid Priest in the order of OMS/RDG and have also received my ordination through the Universal Life Church. As of Beltane 2013 I am the co-founder and Archdruid of the Druids of the Tuatha De Danann. I was also an Apprentice Wizard through the Grey School of Wizardry operated by Headmaster Oberon Zell-Ravenheart.

No Stranger to Darkness

I had a good week last week. Things are going much better at work, our income tax return came in on Saturday morning, and we took a trip up to Crescent City and Brookings, OR. I was able to have a little bit of spending money and we had a good time together as a family. Everything was going great when suddenly, without warning... it hit me!

Spring is in the air! Although we are at the beginning of the month of February, the trees here on the North Coast are already beginning to blossom. Daffodils are springing up from the rain soaked ground. The Aleutian Geese can be heard as they fly overhead on their migratory path.

My Mom passed away on November 11, 2009. She was diagnosed with cancer on our wedding anniversary and died just a few weeks later. I was fortunate enough to be there and held her hand when she passed from this life into the next.

As The Wheel Turns

When I first began to follow the Pagan Path back in the Summer of 2004, I was fascinated with the Sabbats and the Wheel of the Year. Most I had heard of before, but there were a few that were new to me. I made an effort to celebrate each Pagan Holiday and have continued this tradition since then, attempting to make each Holiday with the passing of the year unique. I am happy with my life as a Pagan. I am fortunate enough to live in an area of Northern California that is very tolerant towards people of many different faiths. I work with several Pagans and am a part of a local Pagan Network that gets together for different events and a coffee chat once a month.

- Hi, just a note to say that the staff you have in your picture is nice. I have often wanted something like that, but could never find any. I am disabled and use a cane, but would enjoy a staff too.
