- I’m grateful to have close personal relationship with Apollon. It is a requirement to never disrespect any deity (even the ones that are not part of my personal working pantheon). The Delphic Maxims are very clear and very strict.

- Whatever fits the need... Sometimes nothing fills the need but a full fledged traditional circle. Sometimes only houdoun will fill the bill. I remember my ancestors every night, and I remember the day I started doing so. Sadly, there was time lost when I could have been talking with them and it didn't have to be.
I’m grateful to have a relationship with Apollon. When I just need to light a candle and talk, He listens. It is a requirement to never disrespect any deity (even the ones that are not part of my personal working pantheon). In the beginning, that was a tough lesson to learn.
I’m not a Native American. Totem is a word not in my culture. Different birds tell me things, and crows are my friends. There are some that I can get to come down and feed them like pigeons.
- Hobbies
- I’m really good at genealogy. I didn’t have a mentor, I had to learn research from scratch, but I have done the research for four non-related families. The stories the old folks tell are so precious to me!
I make rose beads & soap, & mead. I love baking and cooking using old recipes (hand-knead bread, bake cakes from the recipe) – never from the box. I have a love and concern for historic roses and historic irises. Shucks, I’m an old fashioned girl!!!

- I love music. Who doesn't really? Happy people are always a blessing. Casting a circle changes perspective on everything and it's always a wonderful thing just to walk in a circle.
I'm happy I married a yummy witch in our 20's. We have grown together and have shared a lot.
- Dislikes
- It is understandable that Native Americans are more often than not, outraged by New Agers. The words used by the very few Native Americans who still have old ways to keep very often find their sacred words used by glib New Agers. I’m not a Native American. Totem is a word not in my culture. Power Animal is not a word in my culture. If someone simply must use the words, at least use them with respect.
I am uncomfortable with anyone who is convinced they know all the answers and are still on this side of the veil.
Empire building in covens is offensive.

Halloween Wedding Cake
Ok, it was not for an actual wedding. It just sort of grew into a wedding cake for the Halloween Party.
To make the cake shown:
2 boxes of White Cake Mix (made as directed, you will need egg whites, oil and water)
1 rectangular cake pan (I think is 13 x 9)
1 bundt cake pan
1 can of blackberry pie filling
2 containers of white frosting
and a
Halloween Wedding Cake topper (you can get them on ebay, since wedding shops probably will call this one a former season now) or Dia de los Muertos cake to… Continue

Someone asked what I do fo rHalloween...
Since you asked....
I pose for lots of pictures with kids from all over (3 counties and 2 states that I know of).
My Halloween is entirely different from our celebration of Samhain came together from unusual places. Samhain is a private evening. Halloween is a family event.
I wear a sequined mini dress (it was a coctail dress for an office party over a decade ago). I wear red and black striped tights under the dress and black Mary Jane shoes. I have a big black satin witch's hat to complete t… Continue

Babysitting and/or Daycare.
My family and I have decided to take a break from Childrens Activities this year. We wish the new Children’s Coordinator the best of luck! My family looks forward to attending the festival as guests.
There are so many kids that love me and ask for me by name. Babysitting and licensed child care are a reasonable plan for our home.
