8/11/09--Well, it has happened. Just because you do everything in your power to avoid the beansidhe. Just because you refuse to meet her visitation. Just because you reject her herald, doesn't mean it won't happen. My brother is dead. I had an experience on 8/8/09 similar to Fridays (the below post.) I came home from the grocery store after dark and sat in my car. I thought, Christ, I know she is out there. I ran like hell into the house with my bags--not listening. Last night and tonight I refused to got outside--I didn't care if the dog peed on the floor--I waited for my husband to let her out. Tonight I had such anxiety today I almost had an anxiety attack. Tonight I refused to go out. I went to bed before 10PM and my heart and upsetment level was so bad I didn't know what to do--this is so unlike me--I'm not a nervous wreck person--I couldn't understand my feelings. I finally took a pain pill I had leftover from an old perscription just to pass out. I now know I was empathically feeling my brother and sensing his distress. My sister called a half hour ago--my brother killed himself tonight. He has been sick (psychologically) for decades. After I got off the phone I went outside to finally meet with the bean sidhe who I had been avoiding for several nights--she was gone. Her message was delivered.

8/7/09--early 12AM. Let the dog out for the last time of the night before bed a little bit ago and I got the major creeps outside. This usually occurs before something "otherworldly happens." Had to go back out in a little while and let her back in--major creeps again--tried to get her in as soon as possible without listening into the night--who knows what you will hear. This is worrying because this is how things kicked up around the time of the bean sidhe appearance of Dec. 2007. Time will tell but I'm making the hubby put the dog out tomorrow night.

8/6/09--Found a great print/etching of Jupiter's Temple in Athens at a thrift shop. Hung it in the family room last night--looks great!!!

8/4/09--Wow--haven't been on in a little while. Check out my blog to catch up. Lughnassadh was wonderful--a group of us got together had a delicious feast and Abundance Ritual. Cats are better. Saw well over a dozen fairy rings today.

7/20/09--PNO was great! Gorgeous again today weather-wise. Penny the cat has a viral bug. Hubby's off for the next 3 days--we so need it!

7/19/09--Pagan Coffeehouse PNO today--it will be nice to meet up with witchy friends. Looking forward to a cup of Southern Roast Pecan Coffee. Weather still glorious! Painting class next weekend--Soul Trees is the theme. The following weekend is our Lughnassadh celebration and PNO again.

7/18/09--It's going to feel like Spring or Autumn the entire weekend--only high in the 70's. What a treat in July!

7/17/09--What will today bring? Up since 4AM--restless. Thinking about the statement: Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Been thinking of this in relation to world religions, jihad, The Inquisition, and the Salem Witch trials. There should never be a "national religion" in the United States.

7/16/09 PM--Trying to absorb the new Harry Potter Movie. Clever writer Rowling. I even cried at one point (and I'm thinking--seriously, you are crying at a Harry Potter movie!!)

7/16/09--There is a moist coolness in the air this morning--what a relief from the heat. I've been pondering this statement: "Death comes like a thief in the night."

7/15/09--What a beautiful day today! Hot as usual but what does one expect in TN in July! Wishing you magick with every firefly and star twinkle!
