"In God We Trust"

In God We Trust?NO. As for me, I will not trust any "God" endorsed by the state, especially since such endorsement is a blatant disregard of the United States Constitution. Now I myself I am very spiritual man, and I have no issue with the Christian religion in and of itself. Most Christians are pretty cool for the most part, even if they are "holier than thou", they still leave me be. For that matter I even read my bible at least a few times per week for a couple of hours. It is my personal…See More

"Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Fascinating study- that of the beginning of the common religions. Spiritually- I think I'm okay. After all, regardless of how confused or jaded I get on a matter, life does tend to go on anyway. Excellent…"

New contemplation on a very old subject

Salutations! This is an actual call out to anyone interested/interesting, not just a "look at me" post.I don't think I have a religion, and the matter of my spirituality is still being pondered daily. I was born and raised in the Protestant (baptist) discipline, however about 8 years ago I began to question much about the religious establishment and began to dabble in the Occult, Wicca, Paganism, and I began to study material on such matters as well as listen to lectures on the subject.A few…See More

About Me:
I was born under the Protestant discipline of religion. I stayed with that until about April of 2010 when I began to dabble in Wicca, Neo-Paganism and the Occult. In doing so, I discovered additional paths with which to explore. As if this writing I do not consider myself religious. I am somewhat of a spiritual soul seeker. I do believe in a creator, that which men have called "God", but I am still working to discover exactly what this "God" is all about.

Christians

A few weeks ago, I was having lunch with a co-worker friend of mine. He is one that we occasionally get on the subject of religion. He claims to be a Christian man, however in my observation, he is somewhat alternative. He is one of the few people I can share some of my views on the organized religion industry here in western society. He's not really very critical of my opinions on the subject, although we do occasionally…

An old journal entry that I liked "three-a-em"

three a-em

08/31/2014

At 3AM in the morning, I find myself laying in the bed with the thoughts of the day running through my head. Suddenly, some old annoying thoughts enter. Thoughts about faith, religions past, present, and future, god, people, and the cosmos. I formally left the Christian "faith" several years ago, and last night I finally had to come to the realization that I am in a similar lull with my current practice. Or am I?…

Sisters of the Dark Moon

-Give beginners resources
-Help connect students to appropriate teachers
-Strengthen the Pagan political voice
-Provide an avenue for pagan networking
-Provide a meeting place for pagans
-Facilitate support groups for the pagan community's needs and desires
-Hold classes to further knowledge
-Support pagan run functions and events
-Hold public workshops, rituals, and functions

This new group is designed to help to give the pagan community more voice, more presence, and allow the people that are scattered by so many egos, paths, and issues to come together for the betterment of the community. To swallow our pride, to fight our ego, to embrace the divine in each other and use that power to have a political voice, a community service plan, and a network of so many wonderful brothers and sisters.

We invite each and every one of you to join the new group: and help me in this worthy cause.

This group is OURS. As such, we seek many. Those that can help with web sites, politics, organization, business, teaching, sites, leg work, ritual leaders, schmoozing and everything else. We embrace those that come with pure intention of making our community stronger and more united.

This is NOT for one type of pagan. We call to all that follow energy, craft magick, stylize ritual, or embrace the divine.

This group is not for judgment. We all have different tolerance, desires, beliefs, and perceptions. We must learn to accept everyone's. As Pagans we need to be able to do this because we have people looking at us to set the example..
