About Me:
Although I suppose I've been some sort of a spiritual seeker pretty much my entire life, April 2010 marks when I finally declared that I would practice a more Pagan style religion. It started as most of these journeys start, reading the best selling Wicca101 books, then moved on to stuff a little more of an occultic nature, then finally started reading other stuff, like various articles in my 1989 encyclopedia, and I have just started a National Geographic subscription that I really enjoy.
Beliefs / Practices
Pagan, Witch, Wiccan
Other Beliefs/Practices
I follow my own set of beliefs. I consider myself Wiccan. My beliefs may resemble that of Dianic Wicca. However as a man, I view the "stereotypical" brand of "Dianic Wicca" as something more for women. Still, I love all things feminine, and believe that "God" and/or "the creator" is a female.

There is no "male" consort, or "God" in my set of beliefs.

How is it that a male practitioner can get any satisfaction from a "feminist" brand of Wicca? Well for one thing, it's my belief that "the Goddess" (I call her Luna) isn't a ball buster. And I consider myself a feminist. Just not a ball busting feminist.
Walking, reading, watching Star Trek TNG, SimCity 4, taking rides, taking photographs, trying on, and then wearing skirts and dresses in public, exploring my feminine side (that I have repressed for FAR to long!)

A few weeks ago, I was having lunch with a co-worker friend of mine. He is one that we occasionally get on the subject of religion. He claims to be a Christian man, however in my observation, he is somewhat alternative. He is one of the few people I can share some of my views on the organized religion industry here in western society. He's not really very critical of my opinions on the subject, although we do occasionally…

An old journal entry that I liked "three-a-em"

three a-em

At 3AM in the morning, I find myself laying in the bed with the thoughts of the day running through my head. Suddenly, some old annoying thoughts enter. Thoughts about faith, religions past, present, and future, god, people, and the cosmos. I formally left the Christian "faith" several years ago, and last night I finally had to come to the realization that I am in a similar lull with my current practice. Or am I?…

Homophobic businesses

Posted on February 1, 2016 at 12:56am 0 Comments

As I read the paper, and see stories of various businesses, people, and (republican) government leaders wanting to close the door on the homosexual community, I can not help but be irked. Now granted, I'm not a homosexual, however I do consider myself somewhat of a "feminine man". My religious views fall outside of the mainstream, as does my wardrobe. I fear the day will come where I will find myself being turned away from a business, or government entity because I'm wearing a pentacle…

Sisters of the Dark Moon

-Give beginners resources
-Help connect students to appropriate teachers
-Strengthen the Pagan political voice
-Provide an avenue for pagan networking
-Provide a meeting place for pagans
-Facilitate support groups for the pagan community's needs and desires
-Hold classes to further knowledge
-Support pagan run functions and events
-Hold public workshops, rituals, and functions

This new group is designed to help to give the pagan community more voice, more presence, and allow the people that are scattered by so many egos, paths, and issues to come together for the betterment of the community. To swallow our pride, to fight our ego, to embrace the divine in each other and use that power to have a political voice, a community service plan, and a network of so many wonderful brothers and sisters.

We invite each and every one of you to join the new group: and help me in this worthy cause.

This group is OURS. As such, we seek many. Those that can help with web sites, politics, organization, business, teaching, sites, leg work, ritual leaders, schmoozing and everything else. We embrace those that come with pure intention of making our community stronger and more united.

This is NOT for one type of pagan. We call to all that follow energy, craft magick, stylize ritual, or embrace the divine.

This group is not for judgment. We all have different tolerance, desires, beliefs, and perceptions. We must learn to accept everyone's. As Pagans we need to be able to do this because we have people looking at us to set the example..
