Shop Pagan run and Pagan owned businesses here. This serves a twofold purpose: to help the community recognize its own and invest in itself, and to keep groups from ever getting "spammy" by giving shops an appropriate place to promote.
Some of my favorite stories come from medieval Europe during and after the plague. Many blamed the sudden spread of disease on an earthquake in Turkey that released foul odors into the air and caused the sickness. Another grim specter is Pesta; plague personified. She carried a stick with a broom on one end and a rake on the other. If she walked through an area with the broom down, everyone died, but if the rake was down some were spared.
MoonTree Productions is an independent film production company that is currently researching a pagan documentary. We invite you to visit our site and either email us or post to our blog any stories, information or support. This documentary is dependent on the pagan community and we appreciate any and all feedback.
I love fantasy/sci-fi, but my BA is in history so sometimes you'll find me curled up with a textbook. Yes, I am that cool.
I love Terry Pratchett, David Eddings, Frank Herbert, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles de Lint, Neil Gaiman, Debra Doyle, Mercedes Lackey and Phillip Pullman to name a few.
Beliefs / Practices
I have been a pagan for 10 years now and I'm looking forward to more study and practice as I move from being a student to being on my own.
I don't have much time, but I love making things from scratch. I'm into steampunk right now but I like adding my own pagan twists. I played goalie for ice hockey in college and so I'm trying to rebuild my body from my various injuries, and hopefully I'll be able to start playing again soon.
As I've been getting to know the Boulder area in the last few months, I've been writing more around town, getting inspiration from the valley and plan on focusing on my writing on the local geography as our production schedule allows.
