I am a great fan of Thistle and Shamrock on NPR. I discovered Celtic music when I was in college, and went to college where the local NPR station was broadcast. It even originated out of Charlotte, NC, at the time. The Monstrosity of Racism

Despite having grown up in the South and living here all my life, I try to comfort myself with the idea that I am, for the most part, not very racist. I know my choices for the Pagan paths which I follow are governed by my ancestry. I recognize many of us have looked to ethnicity and ancestry to make this determination. Pagan Babies

OK...I attended my first Pagan Pride Festival this past weekend in Raleigh, NC. I had a wonderful time, and met some of the most delightful people. As someone who has practiced as a solitary so far, it was very good to connect with other Pagans from the area, and start to develop a sense of "community" with others.
