About Me:: I'm a Wizard, and Headmaster of the online Grey School of Wizardry (www.GreySchool.com). I'm also an artist (see www.MythicImages.com), and author. I've written Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard (with the Grey Council), Companion for the Apprentice Wizard (with the faculty of the Grey School), Creating Circles & Ceremonies (with Morning Glory), and A Wizard's Bestiary (with Ash DeKirk). I'm one of the "founding fathers" of the Pagan movement, and the first to use the term as a self-description. I also co-founded the Church of All Worlds in 1962, and am currently Primate. Report from the Windy City 4/1/09

I suppose April Fools Day is an appropriate occasion for me to write up my latest report on my chemotherapy and other adventures, so here goes…

I would normally have been scheduled for a chemo treatment last week, but since I was flying to Chicago on Wednesday, March 25, my doctor kindly canceled my appointments for that week and postponed them until this week. OZ's Chemo report-3/2/09

Dear Friends,

Please accept my apologies for not posting a report sooner, but the last month has been very hectic indeed! Pantheacon right in the middle of Feb. was an enormous undertaking for our whole Family. OZ Chemo Report—1/30/09

Well, today I get unplugged from my latest chemo treatment. That makes 7 so far—only 5 more to go! I’ll finally be done with all this in early April.

Each time the cumulative side-effects seem to become a bit more extreme. This week my fingers are so sensitive and numb that I can barely stand to touch anything cool, or rinse my hands under running water, or even type (I have to keep going back and correcting typos as I write). I flew out there last Wednesday, attended the Grey School Illinois Conclave Thursday through Friday, and then the St Louis Pagan Picnic Saturday and Sunday. I flew back to San Francisco today, and got home around 4:00. I’ll be working on my backlog of email as fast as I can, starting with the oldest!
