- About Me:
- I'm a born-and-bred native New Mexican. I was born in Las Cruces, but moved up to Albuquerque about 11 years ago. Yes, this means that I'm an Aggie in the middle of Lobo-land! I was in retail for about 12 years. We had a HUGE snowstorm 29-30 Dec 2006 (broke 50 yr old records), got stuck in my apartment for 3 days, and had an epiphany. The company I worked for had decided to open, regardless of the fact that police were pretty much ordering people to stay off the roads. I realized that there was NOTHING in that store (music, book, video) that anybody needed, yet they were willing to risk their employees lives and limbs in pursuit of the almighty dollar. SoI went back to school. Central New Mexico Community College Pharmacy Tech program. Which put me into a career where I'll actually be helping people. After I get a few years experience at it under my belt, I'll be moving to Scotland. Where, you ask? Not a clue!
