"It's a ring to commerate someone's choice to live substance abuse free, and to come to grips with the truth that it's never really all about "people/places/things", but really about us, our inner life. It's about…"

I live in a small town in Florida, off the Gulf Coast. My children are grown, I am retired, and my life is my own now. Hecate saved me when I was sick last year, and now I am still coming to know and understand Her and what that means. Looking for others who see her as I have come to....not as a scary being, but very worthy of respect and love. I think, to me, She comes more in the older, traditional sense, as in Greek mythology. Which is why I moved to this town I am living in: it is a 200 yr old Greek-American fishing villiage. Want to live in the culture that we learned about Her from. Hoping for friends in here who know Her from antiquity also.
Beliefs / Practices
Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan
Why, of course, Hecate....She truly came and saved me when I was very sick. I also like Selena Fox because she lives so beautifully in tune with Nature and the Goddess. And being 59 now, I admire how she gets more serene and happy as the years go by. Also, Hecate has a H.P. who I met years ago, and she is courageous, defending those in need and serving Hecate. This H.P. has become quite famous now, but she seems unchanged by the last two decades.
How did you find PaganSpace?
A happy accident: was looking online for what to grow in a little garden I am planning, to honor Hecate for all She did for me. I stumbled on this site and came in.
