Whom am I? It isn't as easy as I thouhgt to describe one's self. I think that I'm an introvert with an extrovert twist, sometimes. I'm not "the life of the party"; I wish I was. I wish that my personality had more pizzazz to it, but I've come to accept myself the way I am. There are other many important things in life besides being popular. I like to think that I'm, at least partly, noble. I like to help every now and then. Also, I hate materislistic people.
To talk about something else - I feel that I might be going through a period of transition now, concerning my beliefs on religion and spirituality, my path.
At least a little of this here might no longer be totally true in some ways at least. It's complicated. I cannot put my finger on it right now. I can say that some of my beliefs and feelings are changing. It's just too hard to pinpoint them now.
I have an interest in Norse Elves, they're hardly fairies, but remotely related.
To me the gods and goddessess are not transcendent but permeating. I'm much more a Pagan than a Wiccan as I do not do any magic. I revel greatly in the Sabbaths and Esbats and the like, Pagan celebrations.
It's hard to find a group of the Tradition(s) that you feel identified with at your local area; one almost always has to join whatever group is available locally. And it isn't as easy as some think to just form your own group; let alone to maintain it alive. So, if there's a coven of your favorite trad. where you live, feel very lucky.
Dionysus is my fav. god. Not very many people know that Greek Drama stems from the Athenian spring festival, the Great Dionysia, held in honor of the god, who was a patron of the drama in association with Apollo and the Muses.
I want to be a teacher and I'm presently in school for it. I went back to College after a long while. I'm a Security Officer who works at night and sleeps during the day.
I love Comparative Religion, Fantasy, Mythology, Geography, Classics (Greek and Roman Humanities), and of course Paganism. If you're compatible in any of these, contact me. If you're not, contact me anyway.

Yes, I'm still here (barely). I've been suffering through/dealing with some things that I wouldn't even wish upon the people who put me through them!! So my presence online has been "spotty at best".

I've suffered a psychic attack & binding (that continues); the total abandonment & betrayal of my father, and I have no way of getting out of a very abusive relationship that keeps me financially trapped! The combination of these things has created in me, the MOST suicidal desire I've ever experienced in my whole life!!

Whew. THAT, in a nutshell is why I've been very much "absent" online.

I'm sorry, that wasn't quite a "nutshell" was it. But thank you so much for checking in with me. My father doesn't even do that! So thank you for thinking of me!

Hey it's good to hear from you! I've been up to my neck with this and that. Mostly work. For some reason 3 times out of 5 I try to get on this page it wont let me. ? I dunno. Your other groups sound cool. I'll try to swing over there sometime. I've been making a lot of friends over at YouTube. They have a great little community over there.
