About Me:

I'm pretty laid back, and I like to take life as it comes at me. My general attitude involves sitting in my metaphorical Adirondack chair and drinking Long Island ice teas while other people scurry around and freak out about the details.

My favorite place to be is with my friends, who are more my family than the family I was born into. I do not believe that an accident of genetics should make certain people the most important ones in your life.

I write compulsively. It's my passion and, I personally feel, my purpose.

My path is eclectic, with heavy leanings on green and kitchen witchery. I'm exploring, always. I have always felt that the only truly successful human life is that in which you spend every day learning, seeking knowledge, and deepening your understanding of the universe and yourself.

I do not honor any particular pantheon or deity at this point in my practice, preferring the more general "God" and"Goddess" labels. This is for a variety of personal reasons. But I have always felt strongly drawn to the goddess Brigid.

Hobbies

Sarcasm, beer pong, gardening, hiking/camping, cooking...

Likes

The outdoors, animals, women with backbone, cheesy action flicks, 1965 Pontiac GTO convertibles, Camaros, fairy tales, music of all kinds, accents, bright colors, babies and young children, men who respect women, sunshine, dirty jokes, campfires, coffee, karaoke, and chocolate.

Dislikes

Bigots, people who think themselves to be superior to any person for any reason, close-mindedness, liars, betrayers, asparagus, bland food, drool, cold weather, being tickled, messiness, Tom Hanks, TV, uncomfortable clothing, AM radio stations.
