In all seriousness, though, the semi-stereotypical image of a tween or teen Emo, most often female, broadcast their 'Wiccan' studies in a vain attempt to either gain fear or respect is all too real and a pet peeve. This is not because I identify with this image, but rather because these fledglings are attempting to use a spiritual practice as a weapon rather then a tool for understanding. The majority of their knowledge often comes from the internet and a handful of bookstore tomes with bright covers and titles meant to bring sales to the company rather then knowledge to the consumer. We all know how unreliable the internet can be, even with its wealth of accurate information. Our society in the current age is engineered to sell goods, and that's art of the beauty of a capitalistic system. The young generations, however, have once again taken this to an extreme and flooded every aspect of their lives with the desire for stuff, swamping their religious practices as well.
So count my dislikes as those who are comfortable within a shell of misinformative sources with no desire to seek truth for themselves. And those people who insist on doing things 'right' and by the book; "I must have the right candle, the right phase of the moon, the right amount and right type of drink, the right chalice for $450, the right athame for $500..."
