About Me:
Merry Meet. I'm Rev. Mirado Crow, Founder and Tradition Head of The Black Rose Tradition. I have studied Wicca since I was nine years old when I was introduced to the Craft by an ex girlfriend of mine. I was initiated into a Gardnerian Coven called, "Fist of Cernunnos" (which sounded kind of weird at the time) at the age of ten, and reached my second degree at the age of fifteen. I ran two covens at the age of sixteen and seventeen (which both crashed and burned due to my age and people using that to judge my wisdom, which is not both a fair thing and right thing to do). I ran a coven known as "Silver Moon", at the age of 18 (which crashed and burned due to the members having "HP/HPS Fever").

I recently found out from a Georgian Wiccan at age 18, that the Gardnerian Coven I was initiated into was not suppose to initiate me at that young of an age, and tried to get a hold of Raymond Buckland, to report them (finding out later that he wasn't part of Gardnerian Wicca any longer, but founded Seax Wicca) or at least have something done about it. I also told them that I have put in enough years in their coven and have earned my third degree. They found out that I was trying to report them, and scheduled me for a Coven trial, for May 10, 2008. In the meantime I then founded The Black Rose Tradition on October 18, 2007 to breakaway from the dogmatic rules and laws of traditional Wicca (seeing as how it has been bastardized by modern people who think they are Wiccan and took the main practices out).

When May 10th came around, I was completely banished from the coven I was initiated into. I never saw my third degree initiation. I am hoping to be accepted in a Coven in The Black Forest Clan (Yes, the one ran by Silver RavenWolf) to further my studies in Wicca and Witchcraft. I was Legally Ordained as a Pagan Minister by a Unitarian Church on October 8, 2008.

I was named, Mirado Crow at my Second Degree initiation.

I was visited by my Guide in my dream and I was addressed as, Mirado Crow. The next day when I received my second degree initiation, I was renamed, Mirado Crow...

I was bored in November of ’07 and did some Numberology on my full Craft name, and my birth date...they both equalled I stick with Mirado Crow.

I dis-banded the main coven of The Black Rose Tradition back in February of 2009, because the HPS (Theia Furie Wolfe now known as 'Scarlett Morgana Wolfe') tried to undermine my teachings and led the coven to do the same. Trust is a big thing with me, if you ask me to teach you...then trust what I teach, don't ask or even try to force me to teach you things that I don't think you are ready for, especially when you are learning within my Coven. If I was to do that, then my students wouldn't know why they are learning what they want to learn...which is a BAD thing.

I had re-established the main coven in May of 2009...and had moved it up to where I am at now.

I'm here to find local Wiccans who are wishing to meet and greet with me and hopefully hold some private Circles.

I have an Associates Degree of Science in Natural Health with a Concentration in Advanced Therapeutic Massage. I use Energy work on all my helps the healing and relaxation process go a lot smoother.

If you would like to know more about me, just ask or go to my website.

For the New Generation

Chapter 6

Wicca Basics

I have asked many people who’ve claimed to be Wiccan, to tell me what Wicca was. Many of them would stare blankly at me as if they couldn’t understand what language I was speaking, and some would tell me that it is a Nature Religion; not explaining to me what that entailed. I…

In today’s world, religion has become more of a touchy subject than race, age, gender, or ethnicity. Especially for young teens, it becomes harder and harder to express who they really are at heart; instead of just going with the flow of mainstream influences. This becomes even more of a challenge for teens and young adults whom find themselves in the arena of Wicca or the Paths of Paganism. You might have been born or adopted within a non-magickal family, or maybe some of your…

Good Morrow, Mirado of Burlington.  I am happy to see that you agree with us on this disucssion regarding disrespect within the pagan community.  I would like to extend a special invitation to Knights and Ladies where Christopher is a member.  We would be honored if you joined us since it appears we are all on the same page.

Thanks for the gift. After reading your profile, I can say that I know it can be tough being young and not getting the respect you deserve. Besides religion and teaching, the same can go for art. Being under the age of 50, I'm not well respected as an established painter. ah well. Hang in there!
