fun loving, easy going, spending time thinking about this life and the lives I've lived in the past. Only wanting to have peace and tranquility in my life. And most of all to abide by the wiccan rule.
Favorite Books

Hobbies
love to read spend time with friends and family taking walks in the woods to be with the other realm people enjoying time with my husband and our furry children (siberian huskies)
Heroes
My husband, my dad, the troops that are fighting for our freedom!
Likes
quiet nights, good books, friends, family love for all animals. I try to surround myself with positive people, people who are open minded or at least will think of what you might say as true and valid. They may not agree with you but they still believe in you and your feelings.
Dislikes
Close minded people who have no idea about any other religions or that there is only one "Supreme" religion. I'd just like to scream at them to get a grip on life and that there are other things out there, even if you can't see or are knowledgeable of them...... they are there.
How did you find PaganSpace?

Namaste! Thank you for your friend request. I am now back to my "never normal" schedule after a horde of 51 first-timers visiting Puri for about 10 days.... the group organizer was a total disaster, he had no idea how to deal with Indians... :-)
I will take a little time to organize the drawing of the alphabets and scan them, but I have not forgotten you... blessed be!
Namaste! No problem! I will be happy to help you, as much as my internet connection and time allow me to... :-)
I think the best way to learn is the modern method where you grasp words that already have some meaning for you, otherwise learning the letters first, with the composite forms etc, can be rather boring.
If you want to give me your email address I can also send you as attachment the scanned images of the letters/syllables and words on which you can practice.
Namaste dear!
First of all a little general knowledge... :-)
Hindu is the name of the religion that is original to India. The ancient language in which the Hindu texts are written is Sanskrit - equivalent to the Latin for the Roman Church.
Sanskrit is also the conceptual basis for most Indian languages - Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Marathi, Panjabi, etc.
Hindi uses the same letters of Sanskrit but has differences in grammar and vocabulary.
The other languages use the same composite syllabic system but have a different "artistic" way of drawing the same letters.
A second group of Indian languages derives from Tamil, also a very ancient language characteristic of south India, in which many religious texts were written. The Tamil group of languages also uses a composite syllabic system but the grammar and vocabulary are seriously different from the Sanskrit group.
Sanskrit is not generally spoken by ethnic groups but still remains very popular, while Tamil is regularly spoken by people in Tamil Nadu.
Namaste. I will be extremely happy to assist you :-) both through the Net and in person if you manage to come to India...
Please feel free to ask anything you like; specifically about the holy place where I live I can send you the PDF format of a book I wrote.
