About Me:
I am freshly out of the broom closet and I want to meet other Pagans of any path. At this time I am 39 years old, separated from a 16 year marriage and I have 2 great kids. I have had a lot of twists and turns in my spiritual life as well as in my mundane life. I was baptized into a Southern Baptist church shortly after moving to South Carolina and after much studying and conviction I was still left feeling empty. Prior to that, I proclaimed narrow mindedly atheist. I realized in my attempts to find Christ that atheism was just not possible, but that in my path, Christianity was not the right road either. I became a student of sorts in spirituality and world religions trying to find my fit. I was always interested in the paranormal, ghosts, ouija boards, seances and things of that nature and was intrigued when I came across Paganism and eventually Wicca. I have been reading and learning about Wicca for a couple of years now and consider myself Eclectic Wiccan I guess. I feel connected to The Lord and Lady and the balance and positivity that Wicca brings. I am eager to hear from as many people as I can to learn about their experiences, knowledge and paths. I am excited to grow in my personal path and look forward to sharing it.

Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan, Witch, Wiccan, Other Spirituality, Native American Spirituality
Other Beliefs/Practices
Sometimes I feel like I am a different kind of person because I really don't think I fit into a tradition or organized religion. I guess that's possibly because I have never been totally out of the "broom closet" and have not interacted with many non-traditional people but, my beliefs come from a variety of places from books, my heart, my programming as a kid, and life experiences.
Hobbies
Karaoke, Hiking, Riding my motorcycle, Reading
Heroes
My biggest and truest hero or heroine is my wife/best friend. She has stood by me thru ALL of the stages and the turmoil in my life since we met 20 years ago.

My Path

Religion was almost never talked about in a, or as a positive aspect in my childhood home. All of the adults in my family had their own beliefs on heaven, hell and religion, but no one lived it out in life. As a teenager, I proclaimed atheism, I thought when you died your body was burnt or deposited in a hole in the earth, the worms consumed it and your spirit or ghost was left without a body to roam the earth. I was bewitched by the Ouija board and séances. As an amateur ghost hunter and story… Continue

I do not follow the Satanic Bible actually, that is atheistic, symbollic Satanism. I am a Theistic Satanist, specifically polytheistic. I am much like a pagan, in that i believe in many gods and goddesses, but I choose the deity known in modern times as Satan as my patron god. We believe he is the god of rebellion, individuality, freedom, creativity, balance and humanity in general. Just wanted to clarify, as Laveyan Satanists(based on the Satanic Bible) are atheistic and believe only in the material world and animal desires.

I am not, however a "reverse christian" as I do not accept their version of spirituality. "devil worshippers" accept Jehova and Jesus and just choose to worship the "bad guy" and promote "evil"........

Hope if anything i enlighten some people to our beliefs, and show that we are decent people, not crazed cultists.

Thanks for commenting tho, this community is extremely friendly and welcoming.
