- About Me:
- I live in the mountains of Virginia. Have been a musician for 30 years, played guitar since I was 11. Currently am trying to teach myself Native American flute and African djembe drumming. My origins are a mix of Native American, Bermudian, and English and Portugese. Was lucky enough to be born pagan the first time. Well they tried to raise me as Catholic and I went along with it because I really dug wearing the alter boy robes. Never did get molested by one of the priests. Guess I wasn’t cute enough for them. Go figure. Currently working in retail management. Hopefully in the future I will have the opportunity to go back into the music business. I love music, art, reading, movies, camping, science fiction and fantasy conventions, long esoteric conversations, spending time with my close friends and family. Check out www.shevacon.org I was the convention chairman last year and on the board of directors for 16 years. My wife Gina has taken over as the Chairman this year and I have moved to the advisory board. Gina and I along with our friends Blair and Karen are the only original staff members that were there in the beginning but luckily there are many young convention lovers that are filling in the ranks and maybe in a few years we can hand it all over to them and just relax at the con for a change :) Like working with computers, adobe photoshop, messageboard/blogs, anthropology, spirituality, cosplay, costuming, Am now a full fledged trooper for the 501st legion and am looking forward to being out there with my empire loving brothers. I also was raised to the degree of Master Mason this year in the free masons. Pretty much anything out of the normal puts a smile on my face. Want to know more? Just ask.
