About Me:

I can never think of anything to clever to say about myself, well my name is Sam, and i'm openly gay. I live in Mesa, Arizona and believe me I would love to move away from here, but my whole family lives here, so I probly won't be leaving anytime soon. I can't say that I have a specific religion, but the practice of magick has been in my family for several centuries. I have "prophetic dreams" so that's probably why i'm finding myself on paganspace.

Channeling is not the correct term - or if it is, you don't want to channel in the known sense. To most channeling is allowing something to move thru you and use your voice and body - all that I know of who have done this have suffered physically and some have died. Allowing something to move thru you is very difficult on the body. Edgar Cayce, the most famous, was warned to speak by his guides, but he did not, he did die because of his channeling work.
It is possible to do all this work without 'channeling'. Speaking to spirit and learning to listen is the beginning. It is not necessary for anything to use your body.
We speak over the weekend - for now do this:
Breathe in and out thru the nose softly and gently focusing on the center of the brain. that's all - it will center your energy and energize you as well as provide inner silence. Do the breathing as often as you can - and if possible - focus on the breathing for 15 to 30 minutes when you can.

No one is obligated to help others - it is something you choose. It doesn't make you special. I know lots of people are just into for the ego stuff, but trust me - their lives become miserable very quickly.
If you simply want to be aware of your dreams and dreamwalk to help yourself, then you can program the crystal to do that - you can also simply work with the force of your spirit to do this without the crystal. I do work with crystals and stones quite often - again choose what feels best and you may even want to choose a stone for yourself instead of someone choosing for you. Go to a store and wander thru the stones, pick up the ones that interest you and see if it feels correct to work with - don't worry about names or properties etc just go with the feeling.
