Comfort
One of the perks of working through the night I am comforted by sounds that many find frightening. For example tonight we are experiencing a rather strong storm. As I hear the whistling songs of the wind it sounds like a choir warming up with scales.The branches from the trees outside keep knocking on the windows as if to remind me they are there looking over me and that everything will be okay.

My gift from the gods
When it comes to poems I can write about anything and in very little time. The truth is most of the time I do not concentrate on my poems. They come to me while I have pen in hand or computer in this case. Often times I don't know what I have written until the poem is finished. This I know is a gift and although it frightened me as a young girl ( I never told anyone how wierd I was) I have come to accept it as an adult. I just wish I had kept the volums of writings I made through the years.
