I hand down my ancestors' tradition, I do not re-create it. This is my way of showing my respect and veneration for them.

I am Romanian, of the ancient Dacian religion and a family/tradition witch. Born and raised in Romania, Oklahoman by adoption. If you want to know more about my path, visit my website. I am also the HPS of The SAGE Grove Coven in Midwest City, Oklahoma. In the Oklahoman Pagan Community I am known as Day. I also teach most of the Coven's Free Live Online Classes. We do have special guest teachers from time to time, and the live online broadcast had started only recently. Our coven also has a Portal with various information, articles, Oklahoma local events, groups, and stores, craft ideas and many, many more things. I have a MS in History of Religions and another one in Comparative Religions. These were subjects that fascinated me since I was in my early teens. It is amazing how, no matter the space between them, civilizations on opposites sides of the planet could have so many similarities, even in the neolithic ages when exchange of information between them was practically impossible. What more proof of the continuity of the Goddess you want? *S*. If you are interested in subscribing to our classes, please contact me. No phone calls after 9:00 pm though. Also, please understand that generally the week-end (and especially Sundays) are very busy with our coven and on-site classes, so I might not have time to respond to inquiries over the week-end. The Stag's Carol

My favorite bands:

Bucium - from Romania. The following video is named "The Stag's Carol".

Negura Bunget - from Romania. The following video is a trailer of their album "OM":

Dragon Ritual Drummers - from the US. The following video is a live footage from the Ampitheatre at Harvest Fest at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre in Mansfield, Ontario on Oct 6th, 2007.

And of course, the Queen and Goddess Wendy Rule. The following video is her opening the Circle at the Fairy Festival June 2008:

NOTE: Do not befriend me just to send me out of the blue invites to various groups I couldn't care less about. If I don't know you, you never took the time to say a "hi", the only result will be that I'll block your messages. Also, do NOT send me invites to groups and networks, period.

I am also the owner of two spoiled brats.

The Day of the Bear

While the Wolf has no less than 35 days during the year in which it is celebrated, the Bear has only two: the 2nd of February and the 1st of August. These two days divide the year in two perfect halves – when the great change in the wheel takes place.

Bearing the same duality as all the other symbols in the Dacian mythology, the bear has a chtonic chara

The True Story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

A guy named Bob May, depressed and brokenhearted, stared out his drafty apartment window into the chilling December night. His 4-year-old daughter, Barbara, sat on his lap quietly sobbing. Bobs wife, Evelyn, was dying of cancer. Little Barbara couldn't understand why her mommy could never come home. Barbara looked up into her dads eyes and asked, "Why isn't Mommy just like everybody else's Mommy?" Bob's jaw tightened and his eyes welled with tears. Her question brought waves of grief, but also o… Continue

Thanks Giving

I know this is a time of giving thanks for what we have in our lives.

I am thankful that in this tough economy, when people lose their jobs left and right, not only my job is not in any kind of jeopardy, but everybody, staff and residents, have supported me with love and care and can’t wait to see me back, even if they know it might be another couple of weeks or so before that can happen.

I am thankful that while other people lost their homes, I still have the roof of my beloved old house abov… Continue

Midnight ramblings

A few months from my diagnosis I am dismayed by how lonely an experience cancer is. Nobody, really nobody, not your loving significant other, not your caring friends and not even your mother wants to hear about your cancer all the time. But I have it every day. Being a cancer patient or a cancer survivor has become a part of who I am and I can't turn it off. I have learned not to bring it up every time I talk to family, friends or colleagues because I score well on the emotional intelligence sca… Continue

Think before you pink - delayed rant

NOTE: Please, my friends who have sent me gifts of pink ribbons, do not feel offended. This is not for you, oh, no,I couldn't be more appreciative of your generous hearts and your love. It's for the big companies out there.

It irks me to read about companies sponsoring "free bra fittings" during October, and then finding out that those companies neither fit nor sell mastectomy bras. They aren't talking about us; they're just trying to sell a product by tugging on other women's heartstrings. I a… Continue
