Beliefs / Practices
Other Beliefs/Practices
too many practices yet to be explored.

i'm probably mostly an panentheist, maybe partially animist with slight polytheist undertones.

yay everything!

I don't believe in beings who are physically like humans that have the same sort of conciousness humans do, when referring to the gods. Here's what i do believe:

the"gods" or "spirits" or whatever you'd like to call them are powerful disembidied energies that make things the way they are and are sort of guardians of whetever makes them up.

for example, perhaps the god and godess that wiccans believe in are made up of the motherly, womanly, protective that female humans and animals have in them and they all form together to form the goddess.

some for fatherly, manly protective energies that men and male animals have for the god.

and there's probably a spirit of the rocks and the trees and the stars and whatnot.

maybe everyone's heard that before, but i just came to this conclusion recently.

i'm very interested in learning everyone's various beliefs, so if you want to share, i'm up for it!

also i like Buddha. I was really into buddhism after i left christianity and i still like it.
Drawing, painting, reading, watching movies, photography, sometimes i cook...there's more, i'm sure of it. Lately i've been making little statues out of clay for altars :)
err...i guess i don't have any XD
How did you find PaganSpace?
I typed in "pagans" in google and it was the first link.

hm...just thought i'd postthis dream i had last night for fun.

Posted on July 14, 2008 at 1:14pm 0 Comments

Last night, i dreamt that a friend of mine(who is not a friend of mine in real life, my brain made him up) proposed to me. I wasn't even dating him. I was outside of my body watching myself accept his proposal.

A week went by and it was our wedding day. I convinced him to let us get married outside, but he insisted on having the reception in a huge blue castle that looked like a nose-in-the-air fancy restaraunt when you went inside.

Furthermore, he would not let me have a… Continue

So, i've started to set up my very first altar.

Posted on July 6, 2008 at 5:26pm 4 Comments

Yesterday, I convinced my mom to let me have an altar in my bedroom (the reason i asked permission is because i felt it wouldn't feel right if i didn't have my mom's consent within her house).

So, today i swung by Ben Franklin craft supplies, which usually has a good variety of candles and whatnot, but today they only had white, offwhite and red. I amanged to find a small silver candle for a dollar :D

then we decided to go by our local metaphysical shop where i found alot… Continue

this doesn't really have to do with paganism, but it's been on my mind.

Posted on July 1, 2008 at 12:34am 2 Comments

a stray cat that lives around my neighborhood showed up on my doorstep a couple days ago and never left.

i've been aquainted with him for a couple of months now, and even my Dad, who hates cats took a liking to him, so we've decided to take him in.

i'm not sure if this has anything to do with being pagan, but i felt like posting about him.

i feel like maybe i should let him out of the house at night. my sister and parents disagree.

i'm kind of nervous… Continue

is it ever too early to do magick?

Posted on May 15, 2008 at 12:12am 2 Comments

i've only been pagan a couple of months, though i've read alot about magick in that time, and i've known some about it years previously(because of a friend of mine)

i've used runes and tarot cards and they worked for me.

but i'm feeling a real need and i'd like to cast a spell for love.

should i or should i have more experience?

i just don't know.

i posted this in a group but there hasn't been a reply yet, and i really would like to have an… Continue

"coming out of the broom closet"

Posted on May 8, 2008 at 7:51pm 4 Comments

recently, i stopped caring and stopped hiding my pentacle necklace under my shirts. i walk around the house, my mom notices it...i tell her about pagan beliefs and that i go to this metaphysical shop nearby...

so she'd have to be pretty stupid not to know.

i'm wondering if it's even worth it to have a direct discussion about it.

i'm still pretty new to paganism, so i don't think now is the time to come out of the broom closet.

it's just been something… Continue
