Nature and energy inspire me! We must survive and live in this gorgeous universe, yet disgustingly, dangerous world. I believe we must love our Earth and each other to make our world better. We are approaching 7 billion and hostilities continue to arise especially with religion and resources. We are bits of stardust, cousin entities of our Gods, and our aggression, our love, our passion, our creativity, and our knowledge set us apart to make this world great for all our animals and other creatures of Earth. I seek others with common spiritual beliefs and desire to learn and praise our Gods, Earth, and Universe! I am partial to the Greek pantheon, but I am open to other practical elements.
I am quite disheartened that we struggle as the 3% of the population rule what we are. Cellular regenerative technology and applications exist for us to not age---look at Madonna, Salma Hayek, and Magic Johnson.... Yet, regular people can't afford that...of course, it is a coveted resource. Good Health and Longevity should be options for everyone! Our materialistic culture places exorbitant value on merchandise, bling, and money making money. Why aren't scientists paid more than realtors? Why do famous people get paid more than teachers? Why does the police officer that risks his/her life everyday get paid less than a stockbroker? On top of that, those that do accumulate wealth...sit in their glass houses and hardly help the less fortunate improve. Competition of material goods does give the incentive to improve oneself, but the ability to improve with more education is becoming even more difficult to obtain! Also, you can't do everything....make clothes, food, candles...etc...even the Amish have family to make it as a functional society working together as a community. Much of community is lost in our society. still, the Amish have to pay the USA to live in their allocated territory. SO< considering we are competitive creatures struggling to survive in the circle of life; are we just the coincidental assemblage of atoms???? Sometimes, I wonder, but then I see the good and the evil....and realize it is a much more connected universe than just atoms interacting alone. Many spiritual paths and possibilities exist to either embrace an absolutely materialistic and mindless life....Kim Kardashian and the real Housewives or to pursue a focused life improving our community and Earth by sharing resources, helping each other learn, and working to change our governments' policies so that true freedom of religion, health, education, and longevity are available to everyone!!!, Or else...we will keep thinking that the bedspread at bed, bath, and beyond is an absolute necessity...ok....Let's share ideas! :)
