Sheta Kaey is Editor in Chief of Rending the Veil occult magazine, and also serves as Esoteric Nonfiction Editor for Immanion Press (Megalithica Books division).
A lifelong occultist, Sheta learned to read tarot cards at the age of 12 and has worked with spirits on a daily basis since 1993. When you look back at her life and studies, you see a long and varied path along trails both familiar and less traveled, but she left the map behind in 1994 when her true calling manifested in the form of a spirit companion named Meridjet. Since 1999, Sheta has counseled hundreds of people with regard to their spirit guides and companions, teaching how to gain contact, strengthen contact, and improve efficacy in the relationship. Spiritual evolution, personal growth -- these are her goals both in her own life and in her aid to others.
Sheta coined the term "spirit companion" in 1999, followed by the term "phasewalking" to describe her particular variety of astral projection (which many share, but the term "astral projection" is misleading at best) and "photoscrying" (with Kinjou Ten) to describe how to work with photographs to integrate different aspects of a companion's personality and aid the overall work.
The Great Work for all of us is to become more, to rend the veils hiding the esoteric from the mundane. She welcomes you to walk with her on this rewarding journey.
