About Me:

Activities---->Cheerleader mom, painting, reading and always learning, gardening, playing with my kids, swimming, writing.Interests:Holistic healing, natural health and skin care, making oils & soaps, herb gardening, ancestry, tattoo art, photography, cooking and of course singing, singing, singing.

Favorite Music---->Pretty much all of it but some of my favorites are John Mayer whose guiter skills amaze me; Enya whose voice is penetratingly angelic; 80's rock because of the era it reminds me of (Tesla, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses, etc.); songs by artists who are unquestionably talented vocal-wise or are just incredibly gifted lyricists such as Leona Lewis, Mazzy Star, Cheryl Crow, the legendary Jon Lennon, Elton John, Fiona Apple; my tastes vary considerably in music that I deem to be "Feel Good Music" but most of it is the same stuff that my 13 year old likes which speaks volumes about my maturity level. And of course there is what I call Diva music which is the stuff that I like to belt out in the car or shower like pretty much anything from Pat Benatar, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Alicia Keys, Leann Rimes, and other predominantly female artists. You get your typical country ballads & artists pretty heavily here. I'll listen to anything really. Except for the stuff that my Papaw likes or really old country which unfortunately is about all my husband likes.

Favorite TV Shows---->I don't watch much but when I do for myself it is "Jon and Kate Plus 8", "Charmed", "Deadliest Catch", "TAPS" or any type of TLC or Discovery channel stuff. Cooking shows, craft shows, home makeover, girlie stuff.

Favorite Movies---->Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, Aquamarine, 13 Going on 30, An American Haunting, The Changling, Goonies, The Notebook, Wedding Crashers, Elf, The Others, Splash, You've Got Mail, Sleepless In Seattle, Bridge To Terabithia, Spiderwick Chronicles, all the Harry Potters anything fantastical or child-like. You can go ahead & laugh.

Favorite Books---->To Ride a Silver Broomstick, Where The Wild Things Are, A Complete Guide To Incense, Oils, and Brews.

I've been married close to 10 years and have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls, 2 blondes and 2 brunettes, not in any particular order. Morgan Ashlee is 13 and a cheerleader at her middle school and one of my best friends, Shayne Alexis was 10 on the 4th of July and is the mini-me of the bunch and she is quite the dreamer (big surprise), Logan Aric is 7 and is my articulate little inventor, and Gage Anson is the baby by a mere 13 months (6) and is the wild "caveman". They are my joy. I stay at home for now but hopefully as the kids get back to school in the fall, that will change. We'll see. I went to college at Lubbock Christian University very briefly, on a scholarship. I finished up a wealth of different courses and certificates at home though at Kingwood College. Mainly because there was just so much I wanted to do. After I married though, we moved around a bit and finally settled in my husband's old home town of Cleveland, TX, in the country where I love it and it is quiet and the trees are gorgeous.

I almost hate to pigeon-hole myself or to pin myself down to just one title as of yet. I'm still relatively new to this path that I adore. I was overly-anxious to give it a name in the beginning and bacause of my upbringing as a Christian in the Baptist denomination for 30 something years, I initially settled on Christian Wicca. After studying what I have to date though, and in communicating with others within Pagan society, one of the most valuable things I have learned is that I will never STOP learning. My eyes are opening slowly like coming out of a darkened room, into the light. I'm amazed all the time in reading on different ideologies and others' personal paths, just with whom and how much I agree or can identify with that Satanist, or that Shaman, or the Hedge witch, the Reiki Master, Buddhists, Daemonologist, and yes, even still some of my old Christian roots. However, the Christian learnings of my youth are now no longer the forerunner. I still agree with many of Jesus' (whom was just a man by the Christian Gods' own admission) teachings. But his teachings are no more important or have any more bearing on how I live my day to day life than what I have learned so far as a Pagan. So I dropped the Christian title. If I have to choose a title then I would call myself a Very, Very Eclectic, Wiccan Witch. And I don't wanna have to even rattle that long old thing off verbally when asked so I usually just say Witch or Pagan. If you are confused I entirely understand.

Hobbies

Arts and Crafts, taking pictures, making oils and herbal remedies, gardening, cooking.

Heroes

Kelley, my great friend whom I believe is living out her new existence as a gorgeous group of butterflies that stay near my home. was an inspirational mom and friend like none other. I hope that she magickally imparts some of her wisdom to me from whatever plane she now inhabits. She's definately my hero. And my oldest daughter is one of my heroes for her fearlessness, vitality, zest for life and magick, and her unwaivering faith in goodness. I wish I could be more like her.

Likes

There is too much to list here so I'll try to be brief: Music, all of it! Singing, cuddling with my husband or my kids, oversized flannel jammies, spray conditioner that smells like apples, gummie bears, snow cones, writing poetry, growing things, bare feet, my fluffy puppy, the pattern that sunlight makes under the water, Autumn!! The Ocean and the BEACH!!!! Good movies, stones, candles, making things with my own hands, helping someone who needs it, new car smell, making and using my own homemade oils, healers and other concoctions. And of course, spending way too much time on these online communities.

Dislikes

Movie theaters, malls, too much noise, slow broadband, fighting at all with anybody but especially my husband, dust, dusting, doing dishes, my spare tire(s), dishonesty, when others are 2-faced, when someone has a victim complex, and living too far from most people whom I'd probably become very close to because we share the same Wiccan traditions.

Incense

What is it about incense? That smoky odor of spiritual deliciousness. Just a hint of it takes me somewhere primal, almost transporting me to some otherworldly plane entirely. I buy it all the time. The Story Behind Our Names

7TRUE.COM Blessings, I do not come here often becuse it is just to hard to get around with so many people. Things are not so good and i am stuck in Az. The air is so dry I feel like I am clawing for breath. I have not put all the money aside for getting out of here. I had to change my address and in doing so lost $233.00 a month. Crippling to say the least. it is the states pat of sSI. Az. pays nothing at all into SSI. So until I have a California address again I suffer with not enough to put aside.
