Other Beliefs/Practices: Hi there ;-) Im Houngan Matt... if you want to get all formal, I am Bozanfè Bon Oungan Daguimin Minfort, a Houngan Asogwe, initiated July of 2009 by Antiola Bo Mambo Daguimin Minfort, in Jacmel, Haiti. I work in a wonderful House here in Boston, MA, also run by Antiola BMDM, otherwise lovingly known as Mambo Maude.

I am a traditionalist and a stickler for detail; I am not the person to ask about how to integrate Vodou practices into your pre-existing path, how to change Vodou to fit your mold, or other ways of disrespecting a tradition that is significantly older than you and works seamlessly for reasons non-initiates are -not supposed- to understand.

That said, if you wish to follow this path the way it was and is being taught to me, I will gladly answer what questions I can (given both that I know the answer and that I am allowed to give it out; there's a great deal that doesnt fit into either of those boxes). As long as you can treat my tradition with respect and honor, and walk it the way it is meant to be walked, I will gladly and freely help you on your way.

I said I wouldnt post in the forums so I dont but I still want to say something lol.

I plan to have my students jump through a few hoops. we're aiming for something very specific with a lot of work involved. the only way to get the arrow to the target is to have it go through the hoops that line the way.
I'm jumping through them too though.

or am I misunderstanding the hoops reference?
