Recently I saw the quote below on the social networks. The Maxim is discussed in academia as a comment regarding one god versus many gods and the activity of gods.
However, for myself, I give the maxim a Buddhist reading.
"A blessed and indestructible being has no trouble himself and
brings no trouble upon any other being; so he is free from
anger and partiality, for all such things imply weakness."
